Among them is socioeconomic climate. Aim: Find districts wherer students enjoy the highest standardsof Formula: Each district is rated in three (1) share of students eligible for free or reduced-pricee lunch, (2) youth poverty rate, and (3) district wealtb ratio, a measure of propertt and income wealth. The best scoresz go to districts with high wealth ratioxs and low percentages for free lunchand poverty. Socioeconomic climate is a key component ineach district'sz achievement index, which will be released later this week. Rankings: Districtd are ranked on a five-star scalew from most affluent (which received five stars) to least affluent (one star).
