In addition, both entities, along with a consortiu of regional municipal andcooperative utilities, have signede a memorandum of understanding to explors the construction of a fleet of mPower reactors.
B&W has notifiexd the of its intent to submit an applicatiobn for design certification of the reacto rin 2011. Babcock & Wilcox is the power-generation business of Houston-based McDermott Internationa (NYSE: MDR), an engineering and constructionj company.
