Stiles to build Junior Achievement education center - South Florida Business Journal:

The 59,500-square-foot ’s is located on a 4.8-acres site on ’s North Campus. Slaterd for completion next year, the center will alloew Junior Achievement to provide morethan 50,000 students a year from Broward and southern Palm Beach County schools with educational programs in business, entrepreneurship and personal financial management. The building also will serve as headquarters for Juniofr Achievement of South and will include training and meeting spacwe for use by area companiesand groups, accordingf Melissa Aiello, the organization’s president.
The center also will be home to two new JA BizTown and JA Finance The experiential programs will give students a sense ofwhat it’se like to participate in real-world business activities, and the interior will include simulated “mini-cities” with streetg scenes featuring shops, offices and a JA BizTown will provide fifth-graders with a learning environment in which students operate and patronizd real businesses, learning to meet goals of satisfyinv customers, paying off businesws loans and realizing a profit at the end of the businesas day.
JA Finance Park will allow eighth-graders to studyh how financial decisionsare made, consider availabld options and construct a personak budget.
