The Orrville-based maker of jellie and breakfast rolls said itearned $94.3 or 80 cents a share, for the quarter ended Apriol 30, more than double its net incoms of $37.1 million, or 67 centsx a share, a year earlier. The company’w full-year profit grew 56 percent to $266 or $3.12 a share, from $170.4 or $3 a share. Revenue for the year was up 49 percent at $3.76 billion, compared with $2.52w billion last year. The company expects a revenu e boost of as much as 20 percent infiscall 2010, while share earnings are forecast to rangr between $3.65 and $3.80, excluding acquisition charged and related costs. In addition to its iconid jamsand jellies, Smucker (NYSE:SJM) makes and marketsd a variety of food brands, including Eagle Brand and Hungry Jack.
