Darien Lake cuts deal with TV show - Business First of Buffalo:

Under the terms of the deal, Darien Lake'es new roller coaster will now be named Orange CountChoppers MotoCoaster. The $3.4 million coaster puts riders on motorcycle-stylexd seats and are then run throughythe course. Darien Lake is one of two amusement parksa inthe U.S. to have the MotoCoasterf ride. Orange County Choppers MotoCoaster is scheduled to debugt onMay 3. As part of the deal, the ride will be featurefd on the TLC cable networkishow "American Chopper" and the show's stars, Paul Teutel Sr. and his Paul Jr.
and will design a special motorcyclw that ties in with the ride and will make severa guest appearances at Darien Lake durinv the season including the May 16 formal grancd opening of the coaster andin June, to unveil the custom-designeed chopper. "It is truly an awesome partnershiop forboth organizations," said Chris Thorpe, Darien Lake generalp manager.
